Meet CSR Chris!
Why vetmed? I adopted my first dog, Cindy, when I was 12. She had heartworm disease. I only had her for 9 months but tried to make the short time we had as good as it could be. After that experience I knew I wanted to work with animals.
Favorite part of the job? Being able to see animals every day at work. I’ve only worked at a non-vet job for 10 months of my life and hated it!
Pets? Tutu, a chubby, loveable pitbull, Evil, a German Shepherd, Pennywise, a naked cockatiel and my backyard chickens and ducks
Fun fact: I love to bake but hate to cook.

Meet VA Damaris!
Why vetmed? I love working in the field where I can be part of healing, helping, and caring for man's best friend. One of my goals in life is obtaining the knowledge to ensure the health and well being of not just cats and dogs but all animals of this planet.
Favorite part of the job? A tough question for me to answer, but I think it would be seeing a patient who was previously sick or injured coming back for a recheck and seeing them completely healed. Tail wagging or headbutting purs
Pets? Pucca 15yr, Coco 13yr, and Erebus 4yrs
Fun fact: I truly believe that dragons existed long long ago and if they were to be cloned I would get one and name him Lord Aragorn

Meet VA Karla!
Why vetmed? My passion for animals started at age six, when I cared for my first dog through multiple medical procedures. That experience inspired me to pursue veterinary medicine, and I’ve known ever since that this is my true calling.
Favorite part of the job? I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and providing them with compassion, whether they’re here for a routine check-up or not feeling their best. Every day brings something new, and I enjoy the challenge of learning from each patient.
Pets? At home, I share life with Yoshi, my playful Shiba Inu, and Yuki, my sweet adopted cat. Back in my home country, I also have three beloved dogs named Mel, Minina, and Zuko, who stay close to my heart through my family.
Fun fact: I’m absolutely obsessed with the snouts of cats and dogs. They’re just the cutest thing ever!

Meet VA Melissa!
Why vetmed? What started as an after-school job at a veterinary clinic turned into a lifelong passion—and 19 years later, I’m still loving every minute of it!
Favorite part of the job? My favorite part of my job is being able to combine animal care with client care/education and being able to fuse the two together. I have a minor in early childhood education so I feel lucky to fulfill both passions in one.
Pets? After years of being a dog person, I’ve now fully embraced cat life with my two fabulous felines, Wolf and Willow, who make coming home the best part of any day.
Fun fact: Born and raised in New York, I’ve always had a soft spot for animals (and a serious case of wanderlust). When I’m not in scrubs, you’ll find me planning my next adventure, trying something new, or cuddling with my tiny home zoo.

Meet VA Tashay!
Why vetmed? I lost my first dog, Skippy, when I was 8 years old, and it really stuck with me. From that moment, I knew I wanted to help reduce pain and suffering in animals and be there for both them and their families during tough times.
Favorite part of the job? I really enjoy the problem-solving side of it — figuring out what’s wrong and being able to provide answers and solutions that help both the pet and their owner.
Pets? I have two cats, Saber and Gryffindor. They’re three-year-old brothers with completely different personalities.
Fun fact: I’ve never broken a bone, which is honestly surprising because I’m pretty clumsy.
